Charlotte et Meier Link by messalyn Charlotte et Meier Link by messalyn
In the anime movie Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, this is my favorite scene, I must say. I had it done with charcoal in order not to repeat exactly the scene and its sunshine colors. What is the aim of a fanart ? Make the pleasure last longer or have the movie repeating to infinite ? I might be both but in the second case, I could as well make a screenshot of the scene, scene I would have watched again and again, of course. Then, I came to think : "What if this scene was an illustration ? an Amano-style illustration ?". And it went that way.

You know, it's interesting, in the actual novel Meier *Meyerling actually* gets killed by Borgoff who is being possessed by Mashira, after which Charlotte *who doesn't have a name, and hardly any actual parts* kills herself...

I have no idea why I just typed that, great picture anyway.
